Gemma Hodgson

We went to Spyke when we needed an overhaul of our business website. They delivered exactly what we needed, to our time scale and have been supporting us ever since when we need tweaks or help. They are very responsive so we have no need to go elsewhere for extra support.

Technology.

reactnextremixnodewordpress

You may well have no idea how you want your website built and that’s absolutely fine by us – the technology shouldn’t get in the way of building a website that will delight your visitors. We can advise you on the best possible way to build your site. Feel free to skip this section 👋.

But, if you do know what you’re looking for, or are interested in the technology we use, read on…

The bulk of new sites we build today use a Jamstack or microservices approach. So, front-end in React (usually using Next or Remix), a headless CMS, headless ecommerce and using other APIs to integrate with other systems. We also build APIs if they're not already available. If you’re not familiar with this approach here’s a useful summary.

We are Shopify partners and often use Shopify for ecommerce - whether that's a traditional Shopify site or a headless Shopify build, with a React-based front-end.

We also build and maintain WordPress sites and plugins, where that approach better meets the client’s needs. We’ve built many WooCommerce sites and have lots of experience of integrating third party services into WordPress.

Marketing.

Google AdsMetaremix

Having a fast, beautiful site is only part of the battle. Generating traffic and converting visitors into customers is the next step. We can help you with that too.

Paid channels

We run Google Ads campaigns for a wide range of clients and also use paid social platforms such as Meta and X. We can help you get the most from your budget and ensure you’re targeting the right people.

SEO

Ensuring your site is optimised for search engines is crucial. Modern SEO covers a wide range of areas, from technical SEO to content and link building. We can run an SEO audit, identify the issues and then help implement fixes where needed.

Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager

It's important to understand how your site is performing - how are visitors reaching your site, what content are they engaging with and how is traffic converting into leads or sales. We can help you set up Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to track this data and provide you with regular reports.

Site optimisation

Site speed is crucial for both user experience and search engine performance. We can help you optimise your site to ensure it loads quickly and is accessible to all users.
